SPOTLIGHT ON SUMMER

BAYSHORE TOWN CENTER’S MOVIES IN THE SQUARE

Bayshore Town Center, Bucketworks, and Milwaukee Spotlight are partnering for this first-ever outdoor summer movie series,
featuring classic movies like Casablanca, North by Northwest, and Breaking Away, and new classics like Chocolat.
And of course, each main feature will be preceded by a selection of Milwaukee Spotlight films!

The schedule of films:

June 25…Casablanca (over 100 attendees!)
July 2…On Golden Pond (thunder storms…again…canceled!)
July 9…Grease (over 200 attendees!)
July 16…North by Northwest (over 100 attendees!)
July 23…No film, but come see the Israel 60 Dancers!
July 30…Breaking Away (about 100 attendees!)
August 6…Dr. No
August 13…Sound of Music
August 20…Chocolat
August 27…Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner
September 3…To Kill a Mockingbird
September 10…Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid

The program will run every Wednesday from about 8:30 pm (or dusk) to 11:00 pm
Bring your friends and family and catch a movie under the stars.
Stop by one of our eateries for snacks or enjoy a meal before or after the show.
There’s even free microwave popcorn!
For optimal viewing, bring low-back chairs or blankets; high-back chairs are welcome in the rear.

The first event is scheduled for Friday, June 13, 9:00 pm (note the change in date!).
Bring your friends and family to see short films from local filmmakers,
including selections from the Milwaukee Spotlight Student Film Festival.
The Spotlight line-up for June 13 will feature:

Evan Atwood’s Impersonator II (2005)
Mike Cheslik’s Blink (2006)
Sam Shapson’s Epiphany (2007)
Mike Cheslik’s Reppin’ That Calculus (2007)

The next event is planned for later this summer or early fall.
